Atmospheric BOVs (RacePort, ProPort) vent boost pressure to atmosphere on throttle lift and are suited to speed density tuned vehicles. Recirculating and dual port valves (Kompact Plumb Back, Kompact Dual Port) return pressure to the intake and are suitable for MAF-equipped street vehicles.
