PT Motorsport CANbus IO Expander Nano
Ultra-compact IO expander emulating Haltech IO 12 box behavior. Designed for space-critical applications where maximum functionality is needed in the smallest possible package. Compatible with Haltech and other ECUs with programmable CAN bus.
Key Specifications:
– 4x digital pulsed outputs (200mA limit)
– 4x 0V-5V analog inputs
– 4x digital inputs (on/off state only)
– Mode selection: Change from IO Box A or B by jumping pin A5 to ground
– Connectors: Includes 4-pin and 5-pin connectors
Maximum Functionality in Minimal Footprint:
– Ultra-compact nano design for extreme space limitations
– Additional digital inputs and outputs for aftermarket ECUs
– Smallest form factor in the IO Expander range
– Compatible with MaxxECU, Link ECU, Haltech, Motec, and more
– Professional-grade expansion in nano-sized package
There are limitations with this IO Expander nano board
– 200mA limit for the outputs.
– No frequency drive for the outputs. State or PWM only. (490hz or 980hz)
– 0v-5v on the AVI only, no input protection, no 12v input to AVI or DPI pins
– DPIs are state only (on or off), No Frequency measurements. Pull to ground.
Why Choose IO Expander Nano:
When Space and weight are absolutely critical but additional I/O channels are essential, the Nano provides the smallest possible expansion solution without compromising on professional reliability and functionality
Installation Note:
Requires compatible ECU with expansion capabilities and proper configuration software. Nano size allows installation in locations impossible for larger modules.
Use with ECUs other than Haltech may require custom programming via Arduino
