RB VAG Coil Conversion

Our popular RB ignition coil upgrade, Suits RB20, RB25, RB26 and RB30 Twin cam Engines.

Key Features:

OEM Coils: Common easy to find ignition coils used on a range of Audi and Volkswagen engines
Fitment: These coils fit under the OEM Coil cover for that clean look, Internal Ignitors means no external ignitor pack
Custom Loom: Built in house for a high quality fit, using motorsport grade materials including Tefzel wire, Raychem DR25 and Deutsch connector.

We have had customers run upwards of 40psi and 1000hp with this product.
This product offers a cheaper alternative to the common R35 coil conversion.

What’s Included:

– 6x Short VAG ignition coils (Huco or Hitachi branded)
– 1x Custom Tefzel and Raychem DR25 coil loom
– 1x DT8 Connector and Solid pins

Installation Notes:

Coil Mounting: The coils click on to the spark plug’s that have a 16mm hex, so no bracket is required.
loom Install: We recommend pointing the coil plug towards the exhaust cam side for the best fit as the loom is designed to fit best that way.
Grounding: An M8 Lug is fitted to the loom to allow for grounding. Using the last OEM coil bracket hole is a good choice for this.
Plug Installation: We supply the DT8 connector with the easier side to install. The solid terminals are recommended to be crimped with the proper 4 prong Deutsch crimp tool
Dwell: These coils support up to 2.4ms of dwell. but will happily run at the OEM Nissan 1.8ms

Custom loom Fitment:

We strive for perfection on each bench loom, but human error does happen.
We have sold over 30 of these kits to date so far.

After the loom only?

Product stock:

We aim for accurate stock levels when possible. If the product is out of stock it can take up to 4 weeks to produce more.
