CanChecked MCE18 Expander

CanChecked MCE18 CAN bus expander adds additional I/O to ECU systems through CAN bus protocol.
This CAN bus expander connects sensors and outputs that would otherwise require direct ECU inputs, sending data over the CAN bus network instead.
The MCE18 is designed for applications where ECU or display units have limited analog and digital input capacity.

You are probably wondering what MCE18 stands for?

The MCE18 is the optimal solution if you only have a limited number of inputs.

It has already been tested with the following devices:

– CANchecked MFD28/MFD32/MFD32S
– MaxxECU (MaxxECU save file and instructions available)
– Ecumaster (emulates Switchboard V3)
– LinkECU (can streams available for import)
– Haltech (emulates an IO Extender A+B or only A or B)
– Motec (emulates an E888 – 2 pieces also possible!)
– AIM

The MCE18 features:

– 9 analog inputs (0-5V)
– 8 digital inputs (on/off)
– 3 digital outputs (on/off LOW SIDE 0.5A)
– 4 frequency inputs (turbo speed or Hall sensor (wheel speed); one input is reconfigured for this purpose)
– One frequency input usable for ethanol (ethanol content and ethanol temperature)
